Dieter Olschewski

…is CEO of Glass Scan Technologies and of cibite AG.

He is electrical engineer and specialized in mechatronics and spectroscopy. cibite AG provides key technology to produce inspection machines for container glass, that is successfully operated by world leading producers of glass bottles.

Dieter Olschewski is owner of the patent for measurement of transparency within the glass, a process that permits to measure the “transparency” in clear glass. This allows to sell cullets in different grades of transmission to customers satisfying varying requirements and also to obtain higher prices. “Conventional” white glass will be sold to glass bottle producers and glass with high transmission to producers of products in extra clear glass, such as PV-Glass or optical glass. The process to execute measurement of the transmission is unique in the segment of glass recycling.

Dipl.-Ing. André Ommer

… is Vice President of Glass Scan Technologies and sole managing owner of OGIS GmbH / glassglobal Group.

He is graduated engineer in glass technology of University of Duisburg. OGIS GmbH possesses worldwide knowledge in glass market intelligence with information about suppliers, glass producers and customers. glassglobal Group provides details about glass factories, their location, capacities, products, colors, compiles statistics and studies and reports about projects, market development, future investors and contacts. This knowledge is upgraded permanently and is available via or as individual study.

André Ommer is responsible for the development of the recycling project, from collection of waste glass until sales of processed cullet. He establishes contact to authorities that entrust municipal or private companies with collection of waste glass and supply to the recycling facility.

Ramesh Mani

… is Managing Partner in Glass Scan Technologies.

He is a glass industry professional for 32 years and is globally renowned as a Techno-Commercial leader and turnaround specialist, having turned around bankrupt glass plants to best performing units globally, e.g. Majan Glass Co., SAOG, Oman.He is also the Chief Promoter and Managing Partner of Glass Recycling Technologies in the Middle East within GCC, holding a stake in National Glass Recycling Co. SAOC, Oman, which is the 1st glass recycling facility to be set up in GCC.

Ramesh Mani is also the technical Advisor & Consultant to certain ministries in the Sultanate of Oman for specific projects.

Hans Mahrenholtz

Hans, 54 years old, holds an eng. degree (Dipl.-Ing.) of the TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY of CLAUSTHAL, Germany for Ceramics (including Glass) and Energy Process Engineering.

Hans started his business career working for SORG, Germany, beginning in 1989 and ending 1994 as Assistant to the R&D Manager.

From 1994 to 1999 Hans was running his own business offering glass specific software and project management for glass manufacturing companies.

From 2000 to 2009 Hans was working for LINDE, LINDE GAS DIVISION, Germany, ending as Head of Industry Segment Glass & Fibres, responsible for R&D and New Sales within the glass industry.

From 2010 to 2015 Hans was working as a General Manager for GLASS GLOBAL CONSULTING, responsible for the Engineering and Consulting business.

Since 01 December 2015 Hans is working as a Senior Sales Consultant for GLASS SERVICE, Czech Republic with activities in Sales, Marketing, Product Development, Consulting (including Surveys, Audits and Due Diligences).

Summarizing, Hans is working approx. 30 years for the glass industry and is known as a glass expert with a wide range of activities with a focus on Product Development, Project Management and Consulting.
